PhD movie night!

Suka betul aku bila MrHubby dengan supportive nya bagi green light untuk aku gi balik lewat malam sebab gi tengok PhD movie last week.

Maklum la, dengan little monsters kat rumah tu... but he still fulfilled his promises to put my mind at ease sepanjang study ni.

Well, it was a free Movie Night in the Union Cinema, Level 5 Union House. 
Memang la it started at 5.30 pm. Tapi sekarang ni 5.30 tu dah nak dekat maghrib, so memang la by the time aku balik tu dah kira lewat jugak.

Tapi kat Aussie ni, mana le nak demand caramel popcorn bagai. So the salty ones je la..Huhu

It was just a lighthearted but thoughtful take on the postgraduate experience. 
Tapi aku suka la, sebab sangat la typical dengan PhD students- I reckon.

Untuk aku yang ter-miss Orientation Week (sebab hari aku sampai ke Adelaide adalah hari last orientation. hehe), of course la aku takde geng nak  ajak pegi sama. 

Anyway, I was lucky to meet the bubbly Victoria (Aussie oi oi)
 

 and Zaheed (Bangladeshi- dia tak tau ke kat Malasyia berlambak abangla? kuikuikui)
They both are doing PhD in Geography (Department of Geography, Environment and Population)

 On my left were Mohsen (Iranian), Erwin and Nadal.

 
I enjoyed the movie as much as others did– hilarious, but also made me feel less alone, with the new friends. Nasib baik aku ni jenis peramah terlebih. Kalau tidaaaak, hmmm... alamatnya aku cuma kenal laki aku je la kat Adelaide ni. Huahuahua.
