What a blessing to be in the OEH team!
Aritu dah buat BBQ sekali sebagai tanda welcome aku, but that was during Ramadhan. So, this time we had another barbie. Sempena Sharyn (my co-SV) is getting married (weekend baru-baru ni) sekaligus dengan welcoming aku (lagi!).
They are really concern, siap bawak aku pegi kat halal butcher lagi untuk beli lamb chops and sausages. Nasib baik dalam 4 km je dari Thebarton, so tak la nampak macam menyusahkan sangat.
Joe was the chef of the day. Dia jenis suka all the meat well-done. So, semua pakat bising sebab takut daging semua dihangitkan oleh dia. Maunye tidak... selagi tak jadi hitam...selagi tu dia biar atas BBQ pit.
Not only us, the lab laso invited Odie (Sharyn's fiance) and my family. So, it really feels good. Like a family!
Mat saleh kan...so, selain daripada makan polyaromatic hydrocarbon yang hitam-hitam kat daging tu, mesti la ada makanan menyihatkan jugak.
Fresh strawberries...
Salad garden is a must. With calamata olives and fetta cheese.
Eh..mana gambar Prawn Shaslik yang aku marinate? Ni mesti semua dah telan, baru teringat nak amik gambar....-_-
There were also sweet baklavas... nyummm....I loike!
We had a great time. Makan-makan sambil borak macam-macam topik.
And we also gave abouquet of lilies for the bride-to-be.
Hmmm..it was pretty diverse gathering!
We had Greek, Aussie/British, Ukrainian/Polish, Ukrainian/German, Italian/Aussie... and I was the only Asian. Hehehe
Walaupun semua bapak-bapak budak punya tahap, tapi kira okay la...sebab we mix very well.
Every Thurday, lepas lunch biasanya kitorang main crossword puzzle sama-sama. Heh. Ilmiah tak?

Oh... I still owe a post on the first BBQ we had. Nanti la ye. Hehehe
