Lil Adam is getting chattier and cheekier day by day.
When he sings ABC, the alphabets from D to Z might not be clearly articulated, but berbutir la jugak.
The same goes to Alif Ba Ta. My goodness! I was so amazed to realize that he could at least mimic how the arabic letters sound.
May u grow being a smart and succesful man, honeybunch!
While watching the TV, he'd go emotional by yelling "Pimbak! Pimbak!" (read: tembak) although there's no such scenes. Haha.
Ada ke patut-tengah tengok cerita romantik ke, lawak ke... tau2 je nak tembak?! :P
Yet, he got it right when he encouraged the actor(s) to run when there are chase-and-run scenes. This specifically applies to the Tom & Jerry Show la.
Can u imagine, dengan penuh perasaannya Lil Adam pun melaungkan "Lari! Cepat!!! Run!"
Haha. He is so like MIL :P
Cucu Tok la katakan! Ni mesti belajar drp Mama & Tok. During my confinement days, we watched some Malay dramas together dan aku pun menjadi becok macam mak nenek.
"Apa la dia nie..dah tau kat situ bahaya, nak pegi jugak!" "Ish...budus la! takkan tak tau org jahat tu tak mati lagi!"
and such things la...
HOWEVER...(yes, with caps) Lil Adam's chattiness is not favoured by his sitter (e.g. "Adam ni boleh tak diam sikit?")- which I think is not good for children's mental development.
Westerners always encourage the kids to talk (though they say the darndest things!).
Fine, there are times when I say "Mama tak larat la nak dengar. Apabenda ko cakap ni, Adam?" or at least, I just nod and say "Haa..ye la!"
But hello, when u stop my Lil Adam from being expressive, how could he enjoy his wonderland?
Dulu masa anak kecik, nak suruh bercakap sangat. Dah bercakap, nak suruh diam pulak!
Haihhh...

wah cheeky betul. mmg kanak2 patut digalkkan bercakap. x patut sitter tu ckp mcm tu, but kita punya tradisi mmg nak suruh byudak2 diam. dlm kelas pon suruh senyap2, siapa bising kena tulis nama. hmm..
ReplyDeletei ingt anak sepupu i bercerita dgn becoknya betapa she liked school (tadika), tp cikgunya ckp dkt dia, 'Nafisah.. tutup mulut!', which i think was very harsh. sgt2 terkejut. bila la institusi pendidikan kita, especially utk anak2 kecil nak berubah ek?
that's right. Our culture doesn't encourage the kids to express themselves. Hmm susahla my daughters yg dah biasa pegi school kat NZ ni nanti. kot2 ada cikgu yg suruh diaorg diam pulak.
ReplyDeletesetuju..... biorkan dia bercakap & express himself.. baru la dia blh berkembang kan? adam ni mmg cheeky sgt..plus, i love his voice babe!!! ohhhhh~~~~
