Well, last weekend, we went to Langkawi for a conference. SKAM24 that is.
It was supposed to be held at One Hotel Helang...
..but the first night tu,we were sent to the FourPoints by Sheraton sebab hotel penuh.
Rasa nak hangin la jugak, but luckily the room was spacious that I could golek-golek macam Hindustan.
And I told myself to calm down sebab the hotel is by the beach, so boleh la bawa Lil Adam to play there as promised.
The venue of the symposium?
Nay.
Betul-betul tepi airport. Beach apokobondonye?
Anyway, the first day, I presented one paper.
Poyo je aku practised one round. I shouldnt have. Macam rasa tak best je.
The second day, I presented another. Better unprepared. Rasa spontaneous sikit.
Hahaha. Matilah perasan.
Abis present, tunggu dengar few papers presented, mingled with some of them...then apa lagi...
Kuar la jenjalan dengan the 3men-in-my-life.
We rented a small car for RM50 per nite. Considered cheap for a peak season (school hols le katakan).
The second nite tu jugak, as usual ada Welcoming Dinner. Luckily the dress code was Casual.
I totally forgot about it. So pakai je apa yang ada.
Still okay la kan?
Sebab ada je students yang pakai Tshirt and jeans, siap naik stage lagi. Muehehe
Nak networking punye pasal, I dinch have myself seated with the colleagues of my fac.
So, aku yang *cough* perasan *cough* muda ni duduk dengan the Masters students. Hihi.
*hai korang! Kantoi korang ni silent readers selama ni :P

Lil Adam memang sebijik perangai aku. Pantang jumpa bath tub.
Dah siap mandi dan pakai baju pun, boleh cari alasan nak mandi lagi.hahaha
Came Wednesday, we didnt wait until the closing ceremony. Orang lain naik flight, boleh la.
We all travelled by ferry/car. Takut penat dan sampai lambat. Sebab nak singgah kampung jap.
While waiting for the ferry to Kuala Perlis, we lepak-ed at the Starbucks.
See, Lil Adam is so sweeeeet.
Asal nampak bunga je, he plucked for me.

ReplyDeletebagus la u mingle2 ngan students. i mmg x suka (masa jd student di msia la kan) kalo lect yg suka nak duk sesama diorg je, peh tu dlm majlis yg mcm ni patutnya dah bole letak status or authority kat tepi, pon sibuk nak tunjuk kekuasaan lg. ramaiiii... i tell u. u r the few yg pemikiran terbuka. hopefully when i balik serve negara i will be as approachable
