Breaking the news

Last weekend, Sham & I went back to Penang. Abah seemed happy to go to the night market & the Bundle with us. He offered me some tapai, but I had to refuse (well, u know why).
That night, we went to Juru, together with Ina & Acik's family... and we broke the news...
that Abah is going to have another grandchild.

Abah said..he has suspected it before, when I did not kill the snake and when I refuse to eat the tapai I usually like. Haha.
Ina, as usual...keep laughing at me. That's my sister! She just couldn't imagine me being a wife, what more to be a mother. (Tunggu la turn hang nanti, siap aku gelak guling-guling!)

During this holiday, I also bought myself a new pair of expensive loafers, just to ensure this pregnant mom does not have any backpain for wearing stilettos.

Other than that, we visited Midi & Bibi at Kulim...and had our fav char koay teow.

Sunday, we drove Abah to Lorong Kulit. To my surprise, Abah held my hand while crossing the road!!! To most people, it might be nothing, but to me it DOES MATTER!
Why? Because Abah has never showed his love and care that way.
and that really makes me touched!
Unfortunately, not long after that, my MIL called...and we had to rush back to Endau, as Tok Lai passed away.
Yes, we had to RUSH, bcoz we didn't tell her that we were in Penang. hehehe.

Oh..but syhhhh...I am not planning to tell Mak about me being pregnant!

Cameron Highlands is 3rd

It has been a tradition for AS229 students to visit Cameron Highlands. It is nothing new to the accompanying lecturers, especially to Rusdin. Kesian kat hang, Rusdin...jemu tengok Cameron!

Anyway, this is considered as my 3rd honeymoon. Hahaha. Regardless of the 2-3 months of pregnancy.

We took the students to Gunung Berembun, the peak of Brinchang, Bharatt tea plantation, strawberry farm, the shooting location for PGL, Mosses forest, etc.

I bought a lot of teas, flowers and fresh vegetables. Rusdin-walaupun tiap-tiap sem datang, penuh tangan jugak! Hahaha

Little lump's 1st pix :)

Out of the blue, I had a little bleeding that made me panic. Then only I am affirmed that actually I do love the little lump in me.

Sham was out for to the site. So, I had to ask for Along’s help to send me to the clinic. Hahaha..kantoi!!! I’ve been denying when she asked, because I wanted her to figure out by herself. There goes the surprise!

As the last time I was so shocked to get the news, I forgot to ask Dr. Saimah to print the pix out for me :P So, this time I have it printed. See, the cute little lump! Hihihi...

A little love...

I have missed my mense cycle for about a fortnight. After a few days of delay, Sham & I went to the clinic.

As Sham parked the car, I saw myself trembling. Dunno why…maybe I am just not very sure whether I am ready to be informed that I am expecting, as I don't have any 'newly-weds symptoms'.

Sham held my hands and said “Whatever it is, we’ll face it together.”

To cut it short, the UV sound showed a little lump!!!

I was speechless as I thought it’s too soon.

Dr. Saimah said "Ishh...it's not too soon la. Allah knows the best for u"

Yes, we’ve discussed about this matter earlier-it’s not an issue to have one a.s.a.p or later. But how late is late? And how soon is soon?

Calm down, Is. There’s no such thing like ‘ready’ –the same as the wedding day. The time just comes when it’s due.

People say the bond will develop from time to time. No, not that I don’t welcome him/her (I hope he/she wouldn’t think that way). I am just too shocked!

Apparently, there’s an addition of love in this month (besides my birthday and Valentine’s Day).

The baby is due on 20th or 27th Sept 2007 (my fault for not remembering my last mense). That'd be during Ramadhan! Hahaha... I'd have to qada' many days of fasting then :P

I'M GONNA BE A MAMA SOON!!!

Langkawi-the sweet moments

From the beginning, Sham has always wanted to go to Langkawi. I, being the person who have been there once didn't think it's a nice place for honeymoon.

Anyway, we finally did, as Kak Zu sponsored the accommodation at Berjaya Langkawi Beach & Spa Resort. Thanks, Kak Zu ;)

We rented a scooter to have a more adventurous experience. Dreaming to be like the mat salehs around. Haha! Most foreign tourists there rode bikes, instead of driving cars.

We didn't try the nearby cable car though, as it was under construction. But we went to the Underwaterworld that Sham really wanted to go...watching the big fish gliding & little penguins dancing with their happy feet! Other than that, we did some shopping at Pekan Kuah, near Beras Terbakar, and some other places.
The best part is having seafood at a restaurant near a river. We really enjoyed it! Finger lickin' good! But we were not so greedy like the couple we saw, they didn't even say a word since the seafood was served. They just focused on filling their own tummies.

Then, on our way back to the resort, we stopped at the beach, watching sunset. How I wished I had the chance to try paragliding...but there's no such opportunity during this visit. Maybe next time.

Bye, Langkawi. Sham said, he might wanna go there again... Me? I don't mind.
