>50 kg!

Calendar based, my little angel is 18 weeks. But the size is like a 20-week lump. I am 51.5 kg now.

Wow!...I never imagined being able to have a weight of more than 50 kg. The most I ever had was 48, and it was constant for a few years (due to hostel life, I reckon).

Butterfly in my stomach?

I didn’t have to wait so long to be rewarded during this pregnancy. As soon as in the 17^th week, I felt like butterflies fluttering their wings with a 'boing-boing' movement.

Tadaaa…. it’s my baby’s first kick!

Certainly after the first sign, I find myself pausing and smiling at every movement. Haha…he is constantly moving and doing somersaults in my womb. What an active baby I have!

It shows that he is healthy. Alhamdulillah

I could say that this is one of the most exciting experiences of pregnancy. I better enjoy it while it lasts... Can't wait to hold the little foot in my hand!

When positive is sometimes negative...

It's public hols, I was just at home- cooking for my beloved bear, watching TV and resting. Later in the afternoon, I rang MIL but was picked by FIL. We talked until he raised the issue about the old van...
and jokingly asked if my bear can pay the down payment to buy a car. Gulp!

I laughed as if it's not a serious matter...but he kept mentioning it.
I hinted about the expected baby, which means that we'd need to do some savings. Yet he insisted (with lame excuses).
So, I passed the phone to my bear.

Come bed time, my bear asked whether I have given a thought of what his Abah requested. I couldn't say much but "Why does it have to be U again, just U?"
... and the pillows were stained with my tears.
Please gimme a break. First, the increase of allowance...then, extras for shopping in Sarawak... now? down payment for a car?

Hello...my parents NEVER ASKED for even a single cent from the children! I remember offering Abah to buy him a new bike, but he replied "Then, who's gonna bear the monthly payment?" That clearly reflects how considerate my Abah was.

I don't wanna brag about Abah, let alone my Mak. Whether she earns or not; a lot or a little... I've never heard her saying... "Mintak mak singgit (or such)." That's the truth!
My parents never asked the kids to visit them, and never asked for any allowances from any of us (including my only brother).

Fine! Two families are incomparable. They're the type who visit the children every now and then, while parents are not. That's undeniably a pro.
But how on earth did my parents perceive the idea of not burdening the kids & in-laws?

What disappoint me most is -Don't they consider about the coming new family member? It's not the 2nd, not the 3rd that I should not be spending to much. It's the first-and I don't have any single thing to be reused. Everything has to start from zero!

Poor my little angel! He/she must be stressed. I'm sorry honey. Mama doesn't mean to blame U. Remember, dear... I don't want U to be the fav grandson. Just be an ordinary one! Bcoz I believe, it makes life easier.

Ethics at Sedim

I just came back from a field visit to Sg Sedim with Ustaz Mohd Noor and the students for Environmental Ethics.

Sham waited for me to pass the car keys and then he went to watch the F1 racing. Am not so into it---actually because of the heat and the noise!

Well, the camping wasn't that bad.

I just had a slight backpain and didn't dare to be overexcited while playing in the water, as Abah advised. The tree top walk thingey was nothing actually.

The worst part is the pervert driver...eee...I thought I was the only one who realized it. Apparently, some female students also did.

Next time, if I were to bring the students for a field visit, I'll make sure the driver is not the same person...

Time for this month's check-up!


Subhanallah...just after 14-16 weeks, the lump has transformed into a baby!
Look at the scanned pix.

We can clearly see the shape of its head and body...and the spine, too!

But he/she didn't wave...and not moving as much as before. I should have eaten a lot before seeing the Doc.

Mama better start dreaming more about u, little munchkin! :)
