Watch or wash?

 

Scene 1

 

One night, while putting Lil Adam to bed...

Biasa la, kalau mood baik, aku sembang-sembang jap dengan dia...

Me: Good night, Adam. *kiss*

Adam:  I love you Mama *hugging me*

Me: I love you too. I remember when u were small, u were sooo manja with me.

Adam: Hmm... I like to be in your tummy. But I am a big boy now.

Me: You are a big boy? So now you can help me la? Help me to tidy up the house, to cook, help me to wash the dishes. 

Adam: Okay.

Scene 2

The following day...

 
Adam: Let me help you wash the dishes.

Me: Haaa?  U want to watch the dishes??? 

*teasing- buat-buat silap dengar**

(Dalam hati: Tak payah la, satgi pecah Corelle aku ni kang)

Adam: No la. Mama ni.... Wash the dishes la. Not watch the dishes.

Me: Hahaha. 

 

Scene 3

Lately, aku dah ajar Lil Adam supaya angkat pinggan sendiri ke sink lepas makan. Alang-alang dia nak cuci tangan tu, bawak le sekali pinggan tu.

Lil Adam angkat, letak pinggan dalam sink, berlari nak sambung main.

Me: Eh, where are you going? I thought u said u wanna help me wash the dishes?!??

Lil Adam: Owhhh...  

Dan tetiba dia duduk semula dekat dengan sink.

Me: Tu buat apa tu?

Lil Adam: I said I want to watch the dishes, not wash the dishes. Hehehe *grin*

Me: Haihhh... Noti ni!

MrHubby gelakkan aku. 

Tu la, selalu sangat sakat anak. Sekali aku sendiri dah kena balik.
