Fireflies @ Kg Kuantan

Well, this is the only must-join couple who shares a lot with us...Jalak & Dian.
Dian is very nice to me, a good friend. And Jalak...most of the time will go haywired and stretched with his jokes. So when we meet, the place we are in might be shaking due to laughter!

And this time, the after one month being husband & wife... both couples joined to go to Kg Kuantan, to watch the fireflies. It was an amazing phenomenon!

Unfortunately, we could only take pix in the daylight. Cameras are not allowed as the flash will scare the fireflies away. Therefore, there's no point for us to take pix in the darkness. hehehe.

Besides, the place have to be extremely quite. No wonder they only use sampans, instead of noisy motorboats!

Honeymoon at Cherating

About one week after the wedding, Sham & I went for our first honeymoon at Cherating. Actually, I really wanted to go to Perhentian Island but the monsoon season made us postpone the plan. Sham wanted to go to Langkawi, but I don't really find it an interesting for a honeymoon.

When we first reached there, we have already got the impression that the place is not gonna be very nice. The place was also occupied by people attending workshops from the Dept. of Education. But what to do? We were already there...

They even spoiled the surprise by asking whether to gimme the bouquet of flowers at the counter itself, or later in the room. To cut it short, I got the bouquet with a box of chocs & sparkling juice while we were resting in the room.

Afterwards, we went to the beach...nothing very special about the beach. We strolled, holding hands, talking about the new life we have now, the future, etc. How nice to be with the loved one!

We also went to a Turtle Sanctuary Centre and to Kemaman, enjoying some truly delicious sata.
Not many shots taken, as we were shy to ask people snapping photos for us. Hehe.

The last night there, we had a so-called-romantic dinner. We had two choices-by the poolside or in the room. I decided to have it by the poolside (assuming outdoor ambience is better than indoor). Again, unfortunately for us...there were a group of 'ciwi@jakun' Chinese (from China) in the pool, shouting really loud while splattering in the water. Buduh... abis romantik ke mana, apa ke mana!

Apparently, the first honeymoon was not as beautiful as expected, but that's ok. We'll go for the 2nd, 3rd or even 4th to other places :P

MASM 2006 @ Cyberjaya

This year's MASM is celebrated at Cyberjaya. Me, being the 'mak sibuk'... followed Sham handling the treasure hunt.

I was amazed to see a group of oldies who were still energetic, running and teaming up for the next clues.

This is Wong's team, representing his company.
Tengok la perut masing-masing....

Bukan perut sebarang perut, siap menang tempat ke-3!

Unhappy birthday :'(

As usual, I'd be planning something for Sham's birthday.
Unfortunately, I couldn't find a suitable present (twas only two small ones).

To make things worse, the stupid bakery sold away the cake I booked (and paid for) the day before, and Mas & I had to wait for them to decorate a new one (without courtesy).

When we wanted to rush to Sham's office, Mas's car was blocked by an idiot's car. OMG! Please gimme patience!
I was sad that he was kinda bz and not ready for a fun celebration I prepared. I couldn't control my tears anymore when someone said "Why didn't Sam just sit down for a while, or at least have a bite of the cake? He just cut the cake and went away".

Well, the drama went on... I couldn't care less. I was totally hurt!

So, I disappeared for a few days. I really needed to think.....

* * * * * *
A few days later, I arranged another small celebration with Jalak & Dian (at their place).
I don't want Sham's 28th birthday to be remarked by an unhappy memory.

See... I smeared some chocolate cream onto his face! :)

Ok, sweetie pie! Happy birthday... and please don't hurt my feelings again!

Melting my heart with lilies

Sham sure knows how to capture my heart. But he always fails to make it a surprise! Hahaha.
U are so sweet, dearie. It was all ruined by the florist itself. I got a call from Midore Florist, saying that they are delivering a bouquet of flowers to me. No wonder that morning, Sham asked the details about my boss's room, my department, my fac, etc.

Anyway, the lilies are soooooo gorgeous!
It deleted the memories of me sulking over what happened on your birthday :)

Eventually...a blog

When friends started introduce me to blogs, I really wanted to have one, my own. But it has been delayed for sooo long.

I remember amongst the first few blogs I read were Bear's (afxzal.blogspot.com) and Berrybear's (now http://kisahberuang.blogspot.com/). I think it's the way they wrote (or type!) in their blogs that fancied me.

I used to wonder what does 'blog' mean? Now I know...it's a contraction of 'weblog.'

Bray, being an Aussie in a developed country once asked me and Joy..."Hey girls, what's a blog?". And we started making fun outta him by saying "It's like...a sound produced when ur head hit something... "blog!" Hahahaha.
Certainly he wasn't satisfied, but he has to grin and bear with us. Hahaha

Well, not to say that I don't like reading books... but it has to be a really interesting book to make me stick at a corner with the book in my hand.

This blog is gonna be a record of my past and my thoughts... to be read by those who like my writing.

It might need a story-telling skill that I am lacking of, but that's not a problem. This is MY blog. So, I'll just write whatever I wish to.

And...oh yes...there's a lot of cleaning up to do in my dusty head to make sure I don't neglect this blog and let it full with cobwebs.
